Where we started
Starting in 1961 with one truck and a trailer, Talmadge Turner ran shipments mostly on the East Coast from Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina to New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Later he started running to California from the Carolinas kicking off our primary business model.
Through the years
For 20 years Talmadge and his wife Mary ran the business out of their home. In 1981 they had grown to 3 trucks and Talmadge came off the road. They continued to grow the business to 9 trucks in 1990 at which time they hired a full-time manager/dispatcher, Terry Beason- Mary’s brother. Over the next 30 years they continued to add more equipment and more employees, reaching as high as 52 trucks in the fleet.
Present Day
We weathered the storm of COVID and helped keep America rolling by keeping store shelves stocked, much in thanks to our wonderful drivers!! Today, we continue to supply this country with the dry goods and produce needed for everyday necessities.
